You must be at least the age of majority in your province/territory and able to form a binding contract to use Before Borders (“we”, “us”, “the Platform”). You’re responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials secure and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized use.
Businesses creating employer accounts represent that they are authorized to bind the organization and that all information provided (company details, job posts, contact info) is accurate and kept up to date.
Some features are offered via paid subscriptions. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file at the recurring interval shown at checkout until you cancel. Prices and features may change; we’ll notify you of material changes in advance where required.
Taxes are calculated based on your billing address. If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit access to paid features until payment is resolved.
You can cancel at any time in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you’ll retain access to paid features until then.
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including but not limited to scraping, reverse engineering, interfering with security, posting unlawful or misleading content, or attempting to access other users’ data. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
You’re responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not guarantee outcomes (e.g., job offers, immigration approvals, interview results).
Information on the Platform is for general education only. We are not a law firm, immigration consultancy, or recruitment agency. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, immigration, or professional advice. Always seek advice from qualified professionals for your specific situation.
Where we link to third-party resources or government sites, we do not control or endorse their content and are not responsible for updates or accuracy.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to those practices, including the use of service providers to process data on our behalf.
Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and non-discriminatory nature of postings. Job seekers are responsible for the accuracy of their resumes and applications. We may remove postings that violate these terms or applicable employment standards and human rights laws.
We are not an employer of record and do not participate in hiring decisions. Any employment relationship is exclusively between employer and candidate.
Sponsored or featured listings may be clearly labeled. Payment for promotion does not imply endorsement or verification. We may limit or reject promotions that don’t meet quality or compliance standards.
No misleading roles, unpaid trials without disclosure, multi-level marketing, adult content, or roles requiring unlawful fees. Employers must comply with applicable wage, safety, and advertising laws.
Some features (e.g., resume suggestions, country/province matching, job insights) use AI. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review and verify before relying on them. You are responsible for how you use AI outputs.
You grant us the right to process your prompts and content to provide the service, improve models, and prevent abuse, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of content you upload or submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Platform.
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or opportunities arising from your use of the Platform.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins. Refunds may be granted for duplicate charges or documented billing errors. If required by law, you may be entitled to additional remedies.
For promotional trials, you’ll be charged at the standard rate when the trial ends unless you cancel before renewal.
We may modify or discontinue features with notice where required. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, sections that by nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability, payment obligations accrued) will survive.

Last updated: August 11, 2025. These Terms may change from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
